A New Life

It's seven thirty in the morning. You wake up and immediatly check your phone, the forecast reads heavy rain and thunderstorms starting at around eight. You don't think it will be much of a problem. Having just finished packing your things the day before, you hop in your old car and start the engine. You open your garage door one last time before you get on the road, heading north towards a small, relatively unknown town. You don't even remember its name, all you know is that it is your final destination. You flip on the headlights and begin your drive to start a new life, a new life that will be unbothered by a past you so desperately wish to forget.
