Playing with a friend or even some rando rewards you both points, so that means if you get 10 points from a kill, the other player does as well. Dying means 500 points are deducted from your current amount, so make sure to pick up heals if your health is low! And that also means the other player can take away points from you as well, so watch out... And the points also reset each time you join the game! I think its more fun without the datastore honestly like ummm yea...
