Planetside software

Terragen is that software where you can build a whole planet from scratch, like dial in the weather, carve out mountains, make lakes and oceans, throw in clouds that actually look like they belong in a movie, and then render the whole thing so it looks stupidly real, which is why actual studios use it for film, TV, games, and all that high end environment stuff.
