Steampunk was also known as Tecnología (abbreviation of "Steam Technology") is a subgenre of science fiction, or fictitious, that gained fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s. These are works set in the past, Technological paradigms emerged earlier than real history, such as wood and steam-powered aircraft. It's a style usually associated with futuristic cyberpunk and, like this one, has a similar but distinct fan base.
