Echoes of the Asylum

In the early 1900s Blackwood Asylum was a prestigious mental institution. D Eleanor Graves, a brilliant but increasingly unstable psychiatrist, became obsessed with curing mental illness through extreme methods. She believed that by pushing the human mind to its limits, she could unlock a higher state of consciousness. Dr. Graves conducted secret experiments in the asylum’s underground laboratories, subjecting patients to cruel and inhumane treatments. Electroshock therapy, sensory deprivation, and lobotomies were just the beginning. As her experiments grew more twisted, the patients began to suffer from intense hallucinations and violent outbursts. Many died under her care, and their souls became trapped within the asylum’s walls. One night, a mysterious fire broke out, consuming most of the asylum. Dr. Graves and several staff members were never found, presumed dead in the blaze. The asylum was abandoned, and the surrounding town whispered of the horrors that took place within.
