Battle of New Tehran, 2006

New Tehran, a new city in Southern Iran, is besieged by the Soviet Union which pulled itself out of it's economy troubles in 1991. The occupied territory is administered by a puppet government known as the "Persian Soviet Socialist Republic". The United States Armed Forces have joined the war recently on Iran's side, and took back the south except for this city. The USAF entered the city at dawn and made a foothold by mid day, but the Soviet Forces pushed them back to smaller holdouts after the US Marines entered the city, now they are trapped. The Soviet Forces brought in Anti Air equipment, and took air superiority, insertion by air is currently unavailable.
