Searing Dunes

The Searing dunes makes up a vast majority of Scaria. It's extremely hot here and no life can exist here other than near oasis'. The Searing Dunes is located in central and Southern Scaria, and spans over 40 million square kilometers. The thing that caused so much drought was Mount Tranaties bringing in cool air down the mountain sweeping over the base of the mountain facing Scaria, than warmer clouds from Creek Hills couldn't access Scaria because of the cold wind next to the base of the mountain so it just rolls over the horizon of Scaria and never rains down. Scaria will always be hot and dry as long as Mount Tranities is still standing.
