Seeking eternal life, they conducted rituals to trap their souls on the island hoping to achieve immortality. However, their attempts went horribly wrong, and instead they became trapped on this island forever... Neither fully alive nor completely dead. The island became cursed, a prison not only for them but for all who would come after.. Your character lingers in the world long after you leave.
