Nevada, 2049

The year is 2049, AD. Around the globe, temperatures have grown to be over 110 degrees Fahrenheit, forcing a global water shortage as people rush to make sure they have enough for their families. This causes protests, people demand more water. The eventual evacuation of Las Vegas follows suit, rioters causing chaos. Travelling alone or with friends, you venture out onto old Route 50, the cracked asphalt becoming memorized for the many miles that you experience, eventually crossing into the territory of Douglas County, Nevada, on time with your canteen running out. The engine of your old and abused car overheats, causing you to coasting for a mile. Oddly, as you start to slow down, you can see a small home against the background of the horizon. You stop, and a man asks you closer, waving. side note: i really recommend listening to ambient music such as boards of canada or aphex twin while exploring this game, beside that enjoy - ronny
