She was built in the final days of the Civil War in 1865. She would be completed later but would see service in the Spanish American War, where it is estimated that 45-50 people died on her decks. The exact number is unknown as records are lost. She would serve many more years before being sold for scrap. She would be bought by SSs and refuted in 1902. She would enter service in 1903. She would serve for many years, becoming a famous liner partly due to rumours of her being haunted but primarily due to her design. She would sadly sink on August 5th, 1910 after hitting a rock. She would sink in 15 minutes.
