Unspoken

Unspoken is set in New Sunny Side, a remote county with small towns and a military installation. Life was peaceful until a virus killed 50% of Edenburg's and 20% of Hamlet's populations. With little external support, chaos ensued. As 60% of the population died, a massacre occurred at Crystal Lake Camp. Truck drivers reported a pale humanoid attacking their trucks, drawing military attention. Hospital staff in Edenburg reported deceased patients twitching and mumbling, prompting the National Guard to intervene. A platoon sent to Crystal Lake Camp disappeared. Law enforcement found a soldier's body with sharp object wounds. Blood trails led to the lake, where another platoon encountered a man in a hockey mask with an axe. They retreated into the forest near Old Man Jenkins’ cabin. Jenkins heard screams, saw a purple light, and then silence followed by distorted deer calls.
