Carnave mall (2022)

Opened in 1982 with: Hills, penneys, sears, and walmart. hills closed in 1984 due to underperforming. walmart goes along in 1998 due to logocity saying that they were closing 128 stores in the area. that leaves penneys and sears left. in 2001, kaufmans opened in the former hess space. in 2008, kaufmans changed their name to macys. in the following year, october of 2008, toys r us fills in the walmart space. in 2017, toys r us closes due to bankruptcy. in 2022, macys is rebanding and they are still open. jcpenney, macys, and some other tenants remain in the mall. 2025 update: macys is done remodeling. with a new bigger and better store. carnave mall is still thriving today.
