Propaganda flooded television channels, promising the games to be the best since Panem’s birth. When the Tributes rose, the arena did not disappoint. In contrast to the lively, vibrant celebrations at the Presidential Palace, the games were held in a section of the Capitol destroyed during the Dark Days. However, the games were far more than simply a road. Below the arena were twisting tunnels creating a sewer system and bunkers; it was in one of these bunkers that the finale was held.
