Oakdale center

As of 2025, this mall is dying. is at 20% occupancy. it would close may 18th. Oakdale center opened in october 20th, 1981 with parrisan, bon ton, robinsons may, stix bar and fuller, and penneys. they added a montgomery elevator in october 22nd, 1981. sears was added in 1982 but failed and a walmart replaced it. but in 2012, things took a dark turn. a walmart had a fire at just 8:12 PM. the walmart closed 4 hours later. it destoryed the whole wing. the wing was also demolished. as of 2025, the anchors are now: ross, macy's, barnes & noble, dillards, kohls, and jcpenney. in may 3rd, is gonna be: ross, jcpenney, and dillards.
