1896 Athens Summer Olympics

ENGLISH (Αγγλικά) The first modern games, the first Olympiad, was held in Athens, hundreds of years after the ancient Olympics were abolished in the 4th Century CE. Olympic Games were invented in Olympia, Greece in 776 BCE. Athens would later host the 2004 Summer Olympics. GREEK (Ελληνικά) Τα πρώτα σύγχρονα παιχνίδια, η πρώτη Ολυμπιάδα, πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Αθήνα, εκατοντάδες χρόνια μετά την κατάργηση των αρχαίων Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων τον 4ο αιώνα CE. Οι Ολυμπιακοί Αγώνες εφευρέθηκαν στην Ολυμπία, το 776 π.Χ. Η Αθήνα θα φιλοξενήσει αργότερα τους θερινούς Ολυμπιακούς του 2004.
