Bridges (alpha)

No one knows who built these bridges. And no one has ever returned to tell what lies at their ends. You awaken in a place where the hum of the lamps is louder than footsteps, and the darkness seems to breathe beside you. The bridges stretch in every direction, and each step may lead to safety… or to an encounter with something that has no name. Anomalies appear here — strange flashes, whispers, distorted shapes lingering at the edge of your vision. Some say they warn of danger. Some say that… but no one is certain. And something else moves in the dark. More than one “something.” They notice when you slow down, and draw closer when you start to realize this place is not empty. Moving forward is the only rule. Surviving is the only hope. The bridges are waiting. Will you dare to take the first step?
