Fort Carson Ridge "Steel in the Heights. Eyes in the Storm." Fort Carson Ridge is a high-altitude U.S. Army installation located deep in the Sable Mountain Range. Home to armored divisions, cavalry scouts, and mechanized recon units, the base is built for warfare in extreme terrain. Snow, fog, and rocky ridgelines test every crew — from Abrams tank teams to stealth recon patrols. Once a remote cavalry outpost, Carson Ridge now hosts the 3rd Armored Cav, 7th Scout Battalion, and the Iron Talon Training Group. Its mission: prepare warriors to fight where machines and men are pushed to their limits. Whether rolling steel through the mountain passes or watching from hidden lookouts, Carson Ridge is always ready — a silent guardian above the storm.
