Words That Outlast Time

Life is a struggle. As time passes and people grow older, the ones who knew you begin to forget who you were. The only way to resist that slow erasure is to do something bright enough to stay in the heart. Make a work so clear and true that someone 80,000 years from now can still meet it and feel a spark. What is a life if not an attempt to fix a small mark in the tide of forgetting. We live in bodies, but what endures is the idea set down with care. Take your thought, refine it, and set it into the record. Let it ring so clean that it can live without you. Even when the last star fades and night spreads, let your idea remain. Let it be the ember that says "I was here." Memory can be made. Oblivion can be delayed. Thought can last. Work until your idea is strong enough to stand in the dark and still be seen.
