Area-8 "Bastion"

Area-8 designated "Bastion" was commissioned by the O5 Council as a direct response to a series of coordinated assaults by the Chaos Insurgency, these attacks resulted in the compromise of multiple Foundation Areas, and Sites, and the release of numerous SCPs. In the wake of these events, the O5 Council authorized the creation of a fortified, centralized containment, and research hub to secure the most dangerous anomalies of the Foundation, as well as be the main center of all operations in REDACTED, this site now holds as a testament to the foundations strength. Now serving as a primary research facility, Area-8 "Bastion" contains some of the most hazardous and unpredictable SCPs ever documented. Despite its extensive security protocols and reinforced containment measures, the looming threat of the Chaos Insurgency stands. Most likely planning to end what they started. The question remains, will Area-8 hold or will it fall just like the others...
