However, the earth they hold this authority over is desolate, toxic, and dying. Most of the world is buried under toxic haze. Only a handful of walled camps remain, where filtered air circulates just enough to survive. Admission is limited to those deemed useful, or strong enough to endure what still seeps through. Each camp houses a Credit Authority post, guards stationed at every corner, watching. Inside, concrete walls keep society intact and loyalty ensures your comfort.
