WORLD EXTERMINATION: ORIGIN

A group of explorers set sail after a big conflict and accidentally discovered a mysterious place called Skull Island near Sumatra in 1919. On the island, they found giant prehistoric creatures, like massive crabs, and strange native tribes. The explorers’ organization, backed by the U.S. government, sent more teams (including Filipino helpers) to study and fight the creatures. They collected fossils and strange artifacts that the locals believed had special powers. However, the Dutch colonial rulers of Sumatra claimed Skull Island as their territory and warned that it was sinking into the ocean. They demanded the explorers leave, but some prehistoric creatures and fossils were secretly taken back for research. The Dutch worried these discoveries could be dangerous for the whole world.
