The Overlook Hotel

This experience was independently built by me. All models, assets, environments, and layouts were created exclusively for this showcase. Inspired by The Shining. All rights to The Shining and related properties belong to their respective owners. The Overlook Hotel was constructed between 1907 and 1909, officially opening its doors on June 1st, 1910, under the ownership of Robert Watson. Located deep within the secluded Rocky Mountains, the hotel quickly became renowned for its luxury accommodations, breathtaking surroundings, and grand architecture. However, throughout its history, The Overlook has also been marked by unsavory events, including deaths, gangland activity, and suspicious changes in ownership — yet it remains a prestigious destination celebrated for its elegant grounds and spectacular mountain views.
