18 Samcheong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul "The Park Residence" was a cliffside mansion located near the outskirts of Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It was built in 1968, influenced by Mediterranean midcentury architecture. Belonging to television personality Park Yeon-jin, it was renovated in 1994 and fully purchased by 1995. Featuring 2 bedrooms, 2 living spaces, 1.5 bathrooms, a tea room, a sunroom, a swimming bath, and a large lawn, it was approximately 2,101 square feet, with the lot being 2 acres. After the tragic killings of Park Yeon-jin and 41 others in January 1999, the house was sold by her now-debt-ridden, felonious husband for 25,961,940,000 Won. It remained unoccupied until 2010, when it was then demolished, leaving behind an empty lot. Over the next decade, much of Park Yeon-jin's belongings — including two 1990 Mazda Miata's, an heirloom harp, and a mural from her bedroom wall — would be sold at auction.
