Tower of Her Fragile Heart

So Doe approached me (or, what was left of me) with a tremble in her lips; a spear that used to be mine, now resting in her pale hands. Her body was shaking, and so was mine. A gentle breeze was all it took to spread her glistening tears to the sides of her face. She let out a pained cry at the sight of this mess I'd become, woeful enough to pierce even this tainted heart of mine. And yet, she kept standing, taking in the stench of my sinful body as if it was fragrant. I suppose an individual made of as much love as her would find some beauty in this disgusting life. Then, suddenly, the ground beside her sparked. My spear had been gracefully, yet firmly lodged into a newly formed fissure in the earth, and from her silhouette appeared an outstretched hand... ...and for the first time in my life, I was given a body. ...and for the first time in my life, my heart had mended. ...and for the first time in my life, I was held tightly.
