Aurelia Sky Tower

Construction of the tower began on January 14, 1957, and it officially opened on October 18, 1959. Standing 149 meters tall, the tower was designed to represent a modern and futuristic vision of its era. Shortly after opening, it attracted large numbers of visitors eager to experience its innovative design and elevated views. However, beneath its elegant exterior, the tower suffered from structural weaknesses caused by rushed construction and compromised safety standards. What was meant to symbolize progress ultimately became a quiet warning about the dangers of reaching for the future too quickly.
