It begins when a group of heroes split up after defeating the Demon King. Fifty years later, the elf Frieren makes discoveries about his former companions at the funeral of one of them. This anime is a mix of fantasy, reflection, and evolution on the theme of friendship and mortality. The 28 episodes of the series take us in the footsteps of Frieren, his apprentice mage, Fern and a warrior named Stark. As they journey through the lands for which the heroes fought, Frieren tries to fulfill the last wishes of his former companions and begins to discover what it means to live and bond.
