Southeastern Klariivrad – Kranzik Forest Deeper in the forest where the trees grow thick, the air feels heavy, and sound never quite carries right. The clearing is scarred by old trench lines forming a rough square around a weathered altar. Rusted armored cars, broken tanks, and abandoned supply trucks sit half-swallowed by moss and soil, left behind as offerings rather than wreckage. Time hasn’t erased them, only claimed them. Soldiers come here to pray before deployment. Civilians arrive in silence, seeking meaning or forgiveness. Even children are brought along, taught early to stand before the ancient cross at the heart of the site.
