Katskii Keep, House Kozhyn

Katskii Keep is the stronghold of House Kozhyn, set in the northeastern Relend foothills at the base of the Thaeld border mountains within the region locally referred to as Kozlathyr. Partially raised by the founder and matriarch, Lady Marium, it was built as an enclave where the Kozhyn might thrive in peace and solitude. Within its walls stands a lively trade town of shops and taverns, bordered by broad farmlands and open grasslands for horse grazing. To the south stretch rolling steppe hills; to the north rise tall alpine peaks cloaked in pine. Rich mines in the surrounding mountains and rock formations fuel much of the house’s wealth. Though often raided and harassed by rogue hordeland warbands and brigands from steppe and mountain alike, the people of Kozhyn hold fierce pride in their home and would defend it with their lives.
