About & history
"Do not cry, Pepito, show to these people that you are brave. It is an honor to die for one's country. Not everybody has that chance." - Jose Abad Santos Fort Santiago, named after Saint Jaimes of Spain (Santiago), was a fort strategically built at the mouth of the Pasig River within the walls of Intramuros in Manila. The fort itself is a major historical hotspot and centerpiece for the Philippines for many of the events that happened here. Especially for its symbol of foreign colonialism in the country. This is a showcase, and mostly an experiment by me. Made with love; The Capiz Window Workshop. *THERE ARE HISTORICAL PLAQUES LITTERED AROUND THE MAP. EACH EXPLAINS THE HISTORY AND CONTEXT OF EACH LOCATION. HAVE FUN HUNTING!*
