Overthrown

If humanity is apparently superior over most creatures on the planet, is there anything else in the universe that beats us? If so then what beats them? Which creature is superior above everything in this universe, what does it see, what does it look like? Some humans don’t respect animal life, so why should the superior entity respect us. We only may know what they think until we are found and maybe overthrown into the lake of blood, may never to be seen again as all the hope of humanity burns out.
