Coruscant

Coruscant is homeworld of the Galactic Republic and the birthplace of humanity. Coruscant has grown into a massive city-world that includes all of the planets surface and much of it's underground with skyscrapers that climb past the clouds being very common. The planet was attacked and temporarly captured by the Sith Empire, the planet was eventually retaken but suffered millions of deaths and entire sectors of the planet was ravaged. The Republic is attempting to repair and even expand Coruscant from it's current state.
