Your sole objective as a survivor in External Thread is to endure until the end of the round. An AI-controlled entity that responds to player behavior, sound, and movement is always pursuing you. Survival is only dependent on how effectively you and the other players cooperate under duress; there are no goals to accomplish. You may live longer if you stick close, but you may also become more vulnerable. You might be safer if you split up, or you might be left on your own with nowhere to go. Every second is uncertain. The entity is constantly on the lookout, constantly changing, and never giving up. Survive as a group or get eliminated one by one.
