Forbidden City (紫禁城)

ENGLISH (英語) Welcome to the Forbidden City in Beijing! The Forbidden City is placed north of the Tiananmen Square. It served as the home of the Ming and Qing Dynasties of China. It was first built in the early 1400s CE. For some decades after 1912, after the end of the Qing Dynasty, the Forbidden City is currently in use as a tourists' attraction.
