Abandoned by his father, a Hunter, both an adventurer and a bounty hunter, Gon decides at the age of 12 to leave to become a Hunter. This won't be easy; he'll have to pass a series of tests and exams alongside thousands of other aspirants to the title of Hunter. He'll be helped by new acquaintances who aspire to the same goal as him, such as Kurapika, Leorio, and Killua.
