Real Arsenal de Ferrol

The Naval Dockyard of Ferrol, faithfully recreated to its appearance around approximately 1796, served as one of three main naval bases for Spain in the Iberian peninsula. Ferrol was the most advanced, producing a number of vessels every year for the needs of the Crown's Navy. Built so far: The dockyard itself with the perimetre surrounded by a moat, and the facilities in it, including the Armoury, a number of warehouses and storage facilities, a pond for timber, two functional drydocks, Church of San Julián (today cathedral) and more. To be built/work in progress: Shipyard with 12 slipways, Royal Hospital, infantry barracks and parts of the town outside the dockyard under construction at the time.
