History : The story takes place at Kōdo Ikusei High School, a prestigious institution with state-of-the-art facilities where 100% of students pursue higher education or enter the workforce. Students enjoy complete freedom: they can have their hair cut however they like and bring their own personal belongings. Kōdo Ikusei is a paradise, but only on the surface; in reality, only students with good grades receive this treatment. At this high school, each month, based on a class's grades and behavior, a corresponding number of points is awarded. These points can be used to make all sorts of purchases within the school (food, games, consoles, etc.). Furthermore, each group is ranked based on the number of points earned. Kiyotaka Ayanokōji is a student in Class D, which includes the school's weakest students. For some unknown reason, Kiyotaka was negligent on the entrance exams and was therefore placedinthisclass
