But this job only allows him to earn a living while he pursues his dream: to become a manga artist. The problem is that he always encounters the same criticism: he doesn't invest himself enough in his work. Indeed, the young man is unsociable and struggles to become emotionally involved in his works, for fear of exposing himself to the gaze of others. He is also convinced that he is a completely uninteresting person. Yet, Satoru possesses an exceptional gift: when a disaster is about to occur, he is projected into the past for a few minutes in order to save as many lives as possible. One day, while making a delivery, the phenomenon occurs and he realizes that a truck is about to hit a child. Thanks to his gift, Satoru saves the child, but is himself injured and sent to the hospital.
