Welcome to the Royal Scot! ---- Built in 1933 in Great Britian, the Princess Savannah was one of the many Royal Scot classes built by LMS. The engine was bought by the Greenland Shipping Line, which was looking forward to more train trips than ship voyages. The locomotive served a successful career working for the line, gaining alot of money each year. The train would take a few Christmas trips and a lot of New Years trips. The Princess Savannah had a top speed of about 85 MPH. It was known for being on time, and sometimes, early.
