About & history
The First Battle of the Aisne was a follow-up offensive by the Entente Powers upon the retreating German armies that previously fought within the First Battle of the Marne. The battle would last only three days, from September twelfth, to September fifteenth, resulting in a large arrow-shaped territorial gain by the Entente. However, massive casualties would be taken by both sides, with the French suffering a quarter of a million deaths, and the Germans with an unknown number. This is a King of the Hill map, in which both sides compete against each other to hold the main objective, whether by attacking or defending. A side wins by holding the objective until time runs out. Multiple objectives can be used in this map, should a battle require such. Number of Unique Locations: 3 Map Size: Small Join the fight in Europe!
