Vosges Front

The Vosges Front consisted of a large stretch of the Rhine Valley (otherwise known as the Alsace Plain) fighting among the mountainous terrain of such. Though the sector of Europe remained static for the majority of the First World War, attempts to break the stalemate occurred frequently from 1914 to the end of the war. These included the use of elite mountain infantry, underground warfare, and countless charges by both sides to gain a few yards of land. This is a frontlines map, in which both sides compete to take over their stretch of the front by attacking or defending trenches.
