About & history
The Battle For Przemysl would be the longest siege of the First World War, lasting from September 1914, to March 1915. The siege would involve Russian army groups three and eleven to capture the strategic point of Przemysl. Only defended by a smaller Austro-Hungarian garrison, the battle raged on, as both sides would attempt to hold the fort, switching sides frequently. Though the fortress would eventually be taken, hundreds of thousands of Russian and Austro-Hungarian lives would be taken, making such a heavy blow to both sides in the process. This is a King of the Hill map, in which both sides compete against each other to hold the main objective, whether by attacking or defending. A side wins by holding the objective until time runs out. Multiple objectives can be used in this map, should a battle require such. Number of Unique Locations: 4 Map Size: Small Join the fight in Europe!
